This is a 6-hour video-based course on applying Montessori-based approaches to improve engagement among residents and staff in care communities. The course is presented in 4 segments, with a short quiz after each segment. Presented by Cameron Camp, Ph.D. and Gary Johnson, MSW.
Attendees will be able to recognize how a Montessori-based culture affects engagement for staff as well as residents; how applying social scaffolding and a deliberately developmental leadership approach leads to greater staff satisfaction and productivity; as well as recognize potential long-term benefits of adopting and sustaining a comprehensive Montessori-based approach within care organizations.
After this course, learners will be able to

- Use key Montessori principles of creativity and change as applied to employee engagement

- Use Learning Circles as a technique
- Understand the value of coaching vs. annual reviews
