Spaced retrieval (SR) has proven to be an effective intervention for reaching clinical goals for a variety of memory-impaired populations, including persons with dementia, traumatic brain injury, and other neurologic disorders. Attendees will review the origins and bases for spaced retrieval, learn the basic steps for implementing the intervention, and study the most common mistakes made when using SR (as well as how to avoid them). Additionally, the pragmatics of how to bill for applying SR, how to create a support system that enables referrals to be made, and how to sustain the effects of therapy will be provided. Presented by Cameron Camp, Ph.D. and Valerie Greco,

Total Course = 3 hours
