This is a course on how to enable and facilitate persons with dementia to work together to make decisions and achieve goals in their communities. This course is for anyone interested in advanced coursework in Montessori-based Dementia Programming®.
In this course, participants will learn how to enable residents with dementia to lead group activities. Ideas are presented for reading and discussion activities, interactive trivia-type activities, exercise, and other group activities. This is an advanced course and completion of Montessori Dementia Care Professional training is recommended.
